Chemex® filters are 20-30% thicker than competing brands, effectively removing even the finest sediment particles, along with undesirable oils and fats. The filter’s unique formulation regulates the filtration rate, ensuring the perfect infusion time—not too slow, not too fast. This optimal infusion process enriches the coffee's flavor, allowing only the desirable elements to pass through, while filtering out components that cause bitterness.

The Chemex® filter is folded into a cone shape, similar to laboratory techniques, ensuring uniform extraction as water flows through all the coffee grounds toward the apex of the cone. The filters are guaranteed not to burst under the weight of the liquid during brewing or tear when lifting out the grounds.

Highly durable, they are designed to withstand extraction without breaking and come in a pack of 100 pre-folded filters.

Important Note: These filters are specifically designed for use only with the 3-cup Chemex (CM-1).
